Tour 32.  Round the Samnanger fjord - the roundtrip

This tour covers the areas surrounding the Bjørnefjord, Fusafjord and Samnangerfjord. The beautiful landscape is rich in culture, traditions and ancient monuments.

 

Samnanger district: The coat of arms of Samnanger indicates that the district values the rain. Six golden drops form a circle on a red background, recalling the pioneering days of hydro-electric power and its importance to Samnanger`s development as a community.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tour 32.  Round the Samnanger fjord - the walks

32A: Vinnes – Vinnesholmen

An interesting walk along a well-planned heritage trail.

Terrain: Culture walk along country roads, tractor roads and footpaths. Flat with hilly section.

Time: 1½-2 hours. You can choose between taking the walk in part or whole.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

32D: Ådland-Kvernes.

An easy walk along Samnangerfjord.

Terrain: Gravel roads, easy walking, suitable for the elderly and families with small children.

Time: 1½ - 2 hours
