Tour 70.  Voss-Oppheim-Stalheim-Gudvangen-Flåm/Aurland - the roundtrip

The tour starts in Voss centre/Vossevangen and goes through pastoral landscapes, along lakes and rivers and well-known places like Vinje, Oppheim and Stalheim.

 

Voss Municipality: beautifully situated between the Hardangerfjord to the south and the Sognefjord to the north. A bird’s eye view of the municipality reveals that it is shaped like a star. Voss centre, or Vossevangen as the village is named, was heavily damaged during the invasion in 1940, but it now appears as a pleasant little "town".

 

 

 

 

 

 

70C: Stalheim – Brekkedalen

A beautiful and interesting "mountain walk", even if you do not walk the whole route.

Terrain: Tractor trail, footpath. Gentle inclines.

Elevation: 354 metres.

Time: Approximately 3 ½ hours
