The tour takes you through mountains and pastoral valleys in the municipality of Vaksdal with a brief visit in Voss.

 

Vaksdal district: bordered by Modalen, Bergen, Voss, Kvam, Osterøy and Samnanger districts. Agriculture is an important industry, but Vaksdal is primarily a manufacturing district. Historical Landscape Museum at Skipshelleren - the oldest inland Stone Age dwelling of this size in Norway.

Terrain: Path in varied terrain to Skipshelleren.

On the other side of the brigde country road,

footpath, slight incline

Time: Approx. 30 min to Skipshelleren.

Time: Total walk approx. 1 1/2-2 hours.
