Tour 61. Osterøy - the roundtrip
The historical island of the Fjord County.

Osterøy: (East Island) is the largest "inland" island in Northern Europe, surrounded by the Osterfjord, Sørfjord and Veafjord. While agriculture is still an important activity, a rather unusual variety of small and medium size firms carry on the island’s rich industrial traditions. This is also where the great violinist and composer Ole Bull spent much of his childhood, and the rich musical traditions here shaped him as an artist.
